Notes
* = First 2:43 of this track is patched in from Justin Marinoff's source: Neumann km184 (behind foh/dfc/ortf) > Sound Devices MP-2 > Edirol R-09HR (16/44) upsampled to 24/96 in Soundforge.
I scrubbed about 100 nearby annoying claps from various points in this recording.
Note that there are a couple of moments in Time Ed, Spine Of A Dog, and Zed Nought Z where you can loudly hear some of the chatter between Steve Young and whoever was recording the moe. in a moement MP3 recordings -- calling out song titles. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about this. Since were set up behind Steve Young I believe that all recordings from this night will suffer from this issue.
(RANT ON)
Note that as opposed to my 4 earlier recordings from The Cap (The Roots, Bob Weir, Blues Traveler/Spin Doctors, and Umphreys McGee), this recording (and the one Phil & Friends recording I will post shortly) is far inferior. It seems that each time I attend a show at The Cap, there are new, tougher rules and regulations which keep pushing the tapers into worse sounding positions and (now) only allow us to raise our stands about 5 feet in the air. At this point I've about had enough with the venue and their incresingly restrictive rules. Much as I love the venue itself, there's no point in going there if I can't make good recordings!
